Lakme 9 to 5 Insta Light Crème
Hi Beauty Lovers!
By this time you all must have been familiar with the name Lakme 9 to 5 Insta Light Crème as its advertisement is being showcased widely and is really a delight to watch. Shraddha Kapoor in her shimmery grey dress looks very adorable, quite like a princess in a dreamland.
Lakme 9 to 5 Insta Light Crème is a newly launched product in the beauty world which promises radiance and skin-lightening. It is a high performance formulation of crème and powder for instant glow and matte look finish. The crème vows to unfold the sheen within the skin drawing you an effortlessly flawless look. The luminizing pearls in it claims instant brightness with refreshing appearance and evenly toned skin.
Hmmmm…. The claims seem to be quite impressive and to check its standard, here comes my experimental view on its deliveries.
Product Packaging:
It comes in sleek tube, grey in colour and looks quite mod with the name inscribed in pink. The mouth is covered with a screw cap, quite firm and makes the pack comfy for carrying. The opening is moderate enough which allows only a small amount of crème passage.
The crème is white in colour with pink hues. The consistency is ok and needs proper blending into the skin.
Ingredients:
The list is lengthy.
Water, Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Glycerin, Potassium Hydroxide, Parabens to name only a few of the lot many.
Directions:
Squeeze 2 dollops of crème on your fingertips and apply with drops. Blend gently by rubbing the fingers across the applied areas.
Price: Rs. 79 for 20 gm
Product Life: 24 months
My Saga with Lakme 9 to 5 Insta Light Crème:
This product has been my friend since the last odd 10-12 days. I have a normal skin and on application I could experience that it does not leave any sort of stickiness or oiliness though it lasts only for a smaller duration of 2 – 3 hours. Absorbs well within the skin and keeps it sweat-free.
Now, if I talk about its claims of radiance and glow, I don’t think casting a whitish look is defined anything as brightness or glow. It is a miss in this field. The skin just appears a tone whiter not brighter. Even with darker skin tone it would not suit.
Considering, my normal skin the product blended well in it. But I fear it might not be the same with dry-skinned ladies as it does not contain any such moisturizing element. The crème also carries with it a fragrance which is very mild and nothing extraordinary.
Pros of Lakme 9 to 5 Insta Light Crème:
- Blends well
- Stylish packaging
- Moderate pricing
- No greasiness
- Matte look in the initial hours of application
- Controls sweating
Cons of Lakme 9 to 5 Insta Light Crème:
- Claims of instant glow and radiance is a total miss
- Contains parabens
- SPF not mentioned
- Does not moisturize
- May not suit dry skins
- Suitable only for day crème purpose
Recommended?
Oily to normal skin can give it a try.
