To be used evenly all over the face and neck and other exposed body parts as well in a circular motion till it gets absorbed. It should be worn 20 minutes prior to stepping outdoors.
Should be reapplied according to requirement in every 2 – 3 hours for effective difference.

My take with Lakme Sun Expert Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50:

Unlike every other sunscreen, this has not disappointed me in terms of causing white casts over the face when rubbed across. Its consistency is medium thick. Apart from it, the product gets absorbed and blended smoothly into the skin. Dermatologically tested, it is ideal for variant skin types. My experience with Lakme Sun Expert Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 is quite contending like all other Lakme products used by me. It effectively safeguards the skin from the harsh attacks of the sun.

Will you recommend? I think YES. This product is in total a good sunscreen with right claims which it is making up to. However, it would have been much worth for had it provided longer duration of stay in the sun.
However, it is advisable to carry an umbrella or a scarf even though a sunscreen is worn.
