So, when it comes to selecting or buying makeup items, I mostly go for Lakme products. I have already written a review on the Lakme Eyeconic Kajal. The product has been quite impressive. Now, Lakme has come up with an updated version of its Eyeconic Kajal. So, today, I will be reviewing the Lakme Eyeconic Deep Black 22 Hr Kajal.

My Experience with Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Deep Black 22 Hours

To share my experience, as usual, I will go step by step. Let me first start this review with packaging. The packaging is as usual, and there is hardly anything new with the packaging of this newly upgraded kajal from Lakme. The black and sea blue colors can be found on the packaging cardboard. The retractable kajal pencil comes with a nice cap. Overall, the packaging is good, but nothing new or exciting.

Now, let me delve into the application part. Applying this kajal is simple and convenient. It comes with a user-friendly pencil that glides well on the eyes. During the application, I have not experienced any tugging and pulling. It brings the matte finish, which is common for kajal. It highlights the eyelids perfectly.

Now, the big question is has this kajal stayed for 22 hours? How is the performance of the product? Well, let me start with the disappointing note that it did not last on my eyes for “22 hours”, as claimed by Lakme. This is something unusual, as Lakme is known as a brand that keeps its promises. This product has failed to keep the promises. However, it extremely smudges proof and perfectly waterproof. The old kajal product from Lakme was not as good as waterproof as this product.

However, I would criticize the false claim of 22 hours stay. If you are okay with this part, the product will make you happy.
