Today the product that I have in my kit for review is Lakme Face Sheer Highlighter Desert Rose. I am not a huge makeup fan. Generally prefer to stay as simple and natural. But with the call of festive bells and parties, I don’t mind painting my face with sheer strokes of makeup brushes. After all, all these beauty products in the markets are meant for us. So, why not trying the untried and give yourself a nice portrait look.

The task of a highlighter is like garnishing your look, making you look sharp and edgy. With just fine strokes of it on your territories that you want to highlight, you discover a striking look. All the three shades appear to be stunning, but what I picked up is Lakme Face Sheer Highlighter Desert Rose. It is of peach shade accompanied with a golden shimmery glow. Product Representation:

The beautiful packaging of the product is enraptured in a golden rounded cute small tub with a mirror fitted in. The product is very light weighted making it comfortable to carry. However, be very careful to pack it separately, else it may spill in between the joints. We have an applicator sponge, but it results in a troublesome application. The form of the highlighter is powdery with fine glittery particles in it.

My Take With Lakme Face Sheer Highlighter Desert Rose:

When almost I am done with my makeup art, I turn to it for highlighting my cheekbones and T-zone. It feels very light on the skin. However, the powder is bit coarse and you need to keep blending it for bringing it to the level that you are looking for. The peachy shimmery glow that it castes is just lovely and is in very accordance with my liking. However, the most disliked part of this product is its sponge; very troublesome to dab out a calculative amount from the tub. This leads to a lot of wastage. Moreover, it creates a whole lot of mess on the face with excess amount being spluttered through its unevenness. So, I have defined my own rules of wearing it through brushes- rounded ones for my cheek-bones and thinner ones for drawing my eye-edges.

The staying power of the product is not that impressive; only 3-4 hours maximum.
