Patanjali Body Cleanser Soap Review

Hi girls,

On the other day, I was talking that staying beautiful means staying healthy. To stay healthy, you need to maintain better hygiene too. I have written reviews on various liquid and bar soaps recently. Today, I shall add another review on that category. I shall discuss the pros and cons of Patanjali Body Cleanser Soap. Now, Patanjali products do not need an introduction these days. Open your TV and you shall find their ads everywhere. I personally have a mixed experience with Patanjali products. Some products appeared to be too good, while some products are disappointing.

Major Highlights

  • Price: Rs. 13.00 to Rs. 45.00 for 75 g
  • Shelf life: 24 months from manufacturing date
  • Base Ingredients: Vegetable oil base noodles, Sugandhit dravya, Sodium benzoate, permitted color (CI: 74260 & 11680 ), Aqua-Q.S
  • Claims: Useful in rejuvenating, nourishing, glorifying the skin. Also, it claims that it does not cause dryness and roughness of skin after a shower.

Variation of Soaps

Patanjali Body Cleanser Soap

  • Patanjali Aloe Vera Kanti Body Cleanser is a fresh green solid soap. It smells very good and fresh. It lathers very well and cleanses body skin well. You will need a moisturizing lotion after bath. I hope this soap will be good for summer as it gives a refreshing feeling after bathing. Price: 25 Rs. for 150 gm.
  • Patanjali Mogra Body Cleanser gel soap bar comes in a blackish green color and has a strong artificial fragrance. It lathers well and cleanses the skin nicely without making the skin dry or itchy. The price of the Patanjali Mogra body cleanser is Rs. 25 for 75 g.
  • Patanjali Haldi Chandan Body Cleanser is the same as Aloe Vera soap. It smells very similar to Mysuru sandal soap. But you will need a moisturizing lotion after bath. It is also suitable for summer. Price: 25 Rs. for 150 gm.
  • Patanjali Multani Mitti Body Cleanser is enriched with some amazing natural ingredients like neem, turmeric, Aloe Vera, mint, etc. It removes impurities, dirt, and sweat very nicely and leaves the skin clean & smooth. It makes the skin a little dry so you need to use a body lotion after its usage. You can use this soap on your face and body. It too has an artificial smell which is not very strong though. Price: Rs. 35 for 75 gm.
  • Patanjali Lemon Honey Body Cleanser is a yellow transparent soap that has really a refreshing lemon smell which leaves the skin normal. You will need a moisturizing lotion after bath. I hope this soap will be good for summer as it gives a refreshing feeling after bathing. Price: Rs. 19 for 75 gm.
  • Patanjali Rose Kanti Soap is a pink transparent soap that smells like rosewater and lathers well. The smell is very pleasant and mild. But you will need a moisturizing lotion after bath. Price: Rs. 19 for 75 gm.
  • Patanjali Lemon Body Cleanser is a golden yellow color soap bar is covered with a thin plastic sheet. It produces rich froth and cleanses dirt as well as sweat from the body very nicely. It has a citrus fruit fragrance which gives refreshing feel while massaging it on the body. It doesn’t melt off with water that makes it very long-lasting. But you will need a moisturizing lotion after bath. The price of the Patanjali Lemon body cleanser is Rs. 45 for 125 g.

My Experience with Patanjali Body Cleanser Soap

All soaps come in either thick paper package or thin plastic sheets. Packing is simple and to be honest not so interesting.

I have tried all the seven soaps mentioned above, and I have mixed reactions to them. The soaps are quite nice, but there is nothing worthy to be mentioned.

Patanjali Body Cleanser Soap

Patanjali Body Cleanser Soap has a good fragrance. The manufacturer claims that soaps will not leave your skin dry after a shower though this claim actually does not work in reality. You have to use moisturizing cream after bath to avoid skin dryness.

Most importantly, the soap comes with chemical ingredients, and the percentage of alkaline substances seems to be high. This is a little disappointing, as I had expected all-natural products from Patanjali.

Patanjali Body Cleanser Soap Pros:

  • Travel friendly
  • Availability
  • Smells good
  • Gentle on skin
  • Lathers well
  • Cleanse well
  • Refreshing

Patanjali Body Cleanser Soap

Patanjali Body Cleanser Soap Cons:

  • Cause skin dryness
  • Not a natural product
  • Alkaline quantity is high
  • Does not live up to its claims
  • Nothing special to be mentioned

Final Verdict

Patanjali Body Cleanser Soaps are the best affordable soaps. However, the product is not natural, and thus not suitable for sensitive skin. There is nothing worthy to be mentioned about the soaps, as they are pretty similar to other chemical-based soaps, available at the marketplace.
