Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm is infused with Triple Butter Complex of Shea, Mango and Coconut Butter. It has the consistency and texture of a balm which very smoothly glides onto your lips giving you a velvety finish.
It’s a balm with a twisting nature. Endowed with a minty scent this looks super luscious and attractive on lips.
The product is available in 8 different shades and each of them appears to be strikingly appealing.
- Elusive 205: A medium-pinked balm very apt for everyday usage
- Sultry 225: The shade is of a brown and dusty-pink mix giving you a vintage look
- Shameless 215: The most intense shade of the all, this is a deep purple texture
- Audacious 245: This is a very bright orange shade which looks really dark and bright on fair skins
- Mischievous 235: It is quite a summery and spring shaded light orange color with a neon touch
- Standout 250: A deep red hue akin to berry-like shade and looks quite matte on application
- Striking 240: A red-shade with a neutral base which looks quite fun-like and would suit all skin tones
- Unapologetic 210: A bright-reddish pink tone which looks quite bright on the face.
I was introduced to this Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm only couple of months back when I was gifted two lovely shades of it by my cousin. One is Sultry and the other one is Elusive.
Product Packaging:
The packaging of the product is very chubby like crayon pastle colors. The little pencil’s base consists of a twisting technique. The pencils need not be sharpened and looks very cute.
Price: Rs. 800
Product Ingredients:
Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, BHT, Octyldodecanol, Cera Alba ((Beeswax) Cire d abeille), Benzoic Acid.
May Contain: Mica, Iron Oxides (CI 77491, 77492, 77499), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Red 6 Lake (CI 15850), Red 33 Lake (CI 17200), Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Yellow 6 Lake (CI 15985), Red 28 Lake (CI 45410), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850:1).
Usage Directions:
To be applied evenly to clean, bare lips. Build color and coverage as desired with no. of strikings as required.
Reapply and wear as and when desired for moisturizing shine throughout the day.
My Experience With Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm:
The very first thing that I like about the product is that it very easily glides into the lips, without any dragging. The smoothy texture is complimented well on my lips and I love to see the finesse that it shows. It is very light-weighted keeping my lips well moisturized.
Sultry: This is nicely pigmented and the finish is opaque. But generally I opt to wear it over a thin layer of lip balm to make it look more appealing. Just one swipe is enough to draw you a perfect look.
Elusive: I find myself wearing it more frequently compared to Sultry. It has a nude showiness but still looks quite lively onto the lips when applied. A very cool-toned shade.
The colors last good 3-4 hours. The longer I stay away from eating, the longer it lasts. However, while sipping a coffee I can see the stains lingering on the cup. That’s what I did not expect.
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm Pros:
- Lovely shades with excellent pigmentation
- Light-weighted
- Moisturizes well and smoothly
- No sharpening required
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm Cons:
- Highly priced
- Leaves stains while sipping.
Recommended: Yes
Rating: 4.5/5
Conclusion:
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm keeps your lips moisturized and makes it appealing. An excellent pigmented product to keep your lips smoothened and attractive. Discover the love in your lips with this high-ended product.
