Today, I shall review one of my favorite makeup products of recent times. Marks or dark patches on face are unwanted, though they occur sometimes. I, especially, face a lot of dark circle issues, if I do not sleep adequate. To conceal the dark patches on the skin, I was looking for a good concealer. Previously, I have used the Lakme Concealer, and I must say that I was satisfied with the results. However, I thought to choose sometime different this time and thus I decided to buy Revlon Colorstay Liquid Concealer.

To be honest, I was a little doubtful with the product, especially after noticing its packaging. Packaging is good, but quite identical to Lakme’s product. Thus, I thought there would hardly be any differences between the two products. Eventually, I was proved wrong, as this product deserves to be called unique.

Revlon says that this concealer give instant results in hiding dark patches or ugly marks on your skin. It makes you photo-ready, instantly. It fixes the patches on skin with soft flex technology. Presence of Salicylic acid makes it skin friendly. This acid does not only hide the blemishes, but also stops pimples or acnes. The concealer lasts at least 16 hours, without getting fading out. It is lightweight and suitable for all skin types.

My Take on Revlon Colorstay Liquid Concealer

Now, it is the time to check how the product performs, as per the claim of the manufacturer. Packaging of this product is good, but nothing groundbreaking. Sleek bottle is coupled with a black cap. Black cap comes with a smudging brush, which is soft and gentle.

I have tried many concealers and amongst them I used to like Lakme Concealer a lot. When I bought this product, my expectation was that the product would be good, but not better than Lakme. Well, I am absolutely proved wrong! This concealer is the best that I have bought so far. It blends with skin very nicely and quickly.

According to my experience, this concealer lasts on skin at least for 10 hours and even more. While other concealers wash off with sweat, Revlon Colorstay Liquid Concealer stays even after sweating. Though, if you sweat heavily, it would not last for long. Hence, not being water proof is a clear drawback of this product.
