Patanjali Tejus Coconut Oil Review
Hi girls,
I hope all of you are doing fine. Today, I shall review yet another Patanjali product. Over the years, I have used quite a few products from Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali. To be honest, I liked most of them, while a few of them turned disappointing for me. But, anyways, you cannot expect everything to be good. Is not it? So, what I have for you guys today? Today, I shall review Patanjali Tejus Coconut Oil.
Coconut oil is an iconic beauty product that can be found in every household. We all know the benefits of coconut oil, and we understand how it benefits our skin as well as hair. I generally use Vatika Coconut Oil. When I find Patanjali too has launched coconut oil, I can’t resist myself from trying it. Firstly, I love Patanjali products. Secondly, they come with low pocket pinch.
Major Highlights
This coconut oil claims to be edible and double filtered. For filtration, it has not been processed through chemicals. That is why it remains edible. Anyways, let us check out some major highlights on the product:
- Quantity: 210 ML
- Price: 65 INR
- Texture: Thick and consistent
- Fragrance: beautiful smell of coconut – just like normal coconut oil
- Edible and double filtered oil
What Patanjali Says on This Product?
Patanjali claims that Tejus Coconut Oil has been made from the matured and fresh coconuts. Purity of this oil has been maintained by not adding any chemicals to it during the process of filtration. Double filtration also ensures that the oil remains edible. This is why it has been named Patanjali Tejus Coconut Oil. ‘Tejus’ means edible.
Directions For Usage
I have used this product mainly as hair oil. I haven’t used it as edible oil, and thus I cannot comment anything on that. I generally apply it on scalp as well as hairs at night before going to bed. Next morning, I rinse my hairs carefully under the shower. If you do not like any fragrance during sleep at night, use it on daytime. Apply the oil and leave for 1-2 hours and then go for showering.
Apart from this, coconut oil can be used for various other purposes. I shall discuss those later in a separate write-up.
My Experience with Patanjali Tejus Coconut Oil
I am an ardent coconut oil user. It keeps my hair strong, prevents scalp dryness and also adds natural shine to hair. I apply coconut oil twice a week. Previously, I was using Vatika Hair Oil. Recently, I switched to Patanjali Tejus Coconut Oil.
Well, to be honest, so far I have not noted anything lagging for this new product. I strongly feel that this coconut oil better, as it is double filtered. It has thicker consistency than Vatika Hair Oil, and fragrance is too better.
Pros:
- Smells like pure coconut
- Beautiful thick texture
- Enriched with all the natural goodness of coconut
- Price is incredibly cheaper
- Easily available on local Patanjali stores and online shops
- Chemical free product
Cons:
- Packaging is not so impressive
- Strong fragrance may ruin edibility
Final Verdict
Without any hesitation, I would conclude that Patanjali Tejus Coconut Oil is a must-have product at home. This is cheap, pure and fresh.
My Rating: 4.5/5
